About 25 years ago, when I would have been about 25 years old, a friend of mine, Michael Robinson, asked me to act in a film he wrote, produced, and directed, with the aim of winning that year’s “David Lean Prize”, which as I recall, was a competition hosted by Croydon Library, located in South London of the UK.
The competition was designed to encourage young film-makers to submit a two to four minute film, in order to demonstrate their technical practice of filming from a variety of different angles.
Michael’s film, despite coming in at nearly twenty minutes, and thus defying one of the core foundations of the competition’s rules, won the competition.
And here is Part Two…
ENJOY!
