The Only Time I Was Ever On Film – Circa 1995/1996 – Foot Fetish (Part 2)

About 25 years ago, when I would have been about 25 years old, a friend of mine, Michael Robinson, asked me to act in a film he wrote, produced, and directed, with the aim of winning that year’s “David Lean Prize”, which as I recall, was a competition hosted by Croydon Library, located in South London of the UK.

The competition was designed to encourage young film-makers to submit a two to four minute film, in order to demonstrate their technical practice of filming from a variety of different angles.

Michael’s film, despite coming in at nearly twenty minutes, and thus defying one of the core foundations of the competition’s rules, won the competition.
